What are the optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos?

There are a lot of arguments in favor of and against this particular point: whether or not there are optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos. Well, I’d like to say in favor of it. Naturally your channel doesn’t have the same number of viewers throughout the whole day, at certain periods it has more viewers and views than other times. For example, a news channel has most visitors/viewers right after evening and a music channel has most viewers after 9PM. This is because viewers belong to certain categories, occupations and habits. So their tendency to visit YouTube also increases after certain time instant.

Now if you upload your video at such a time instant, they will receive notifications of the upload. Not that they don’t receive notification if the video is uploaded at another time instant. But the thing is that the viewers aren’t active on YouTube at those time instants, so these notifications remain unnoticed and left behind. Thus you lose a big number of valuable views that you could have pocketed otherwise. And for your information, the first few views that you get for a certain YouTube video of yours are really important, for they decide how much popularity and viral your video is going to be. (This article is on optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos)

If you go to the analytics of a certain video and scrutinize its traffic source you will get to see how many views you got from notifications. In my case, it is around 5%. Now assume that the total number of views for a certain video up to a time instant is 100,000; then its 5% would be 5000. Surely this is not a small number. But if you publish the video at a wrong time, this percentage could go as low as 1%, thus you would lose 4000 views just like that. Additionally, if a YouTube video gets a good number of views right after its publishing, it is supposed to get good ranking in the future. (This article is on optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos)

Now how to find optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos?

For this purpose you need to follow the realtime analytics of your channel. Unless your channel is new and still struggling to get established, it is supposed to be like the one that follows:

realtime analytics to find optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos

The blue portion of the image depicts the realtime analytics for the last 48 hours. So as you can see there is a peak of views in every 24 hours. If you publish only one video in a day, then you should do that at the beginning of this peak which just happens to be around 9:00PM-10:00PM. If you choose to publish two videos in a day, then you need to publish the other one at around 12:00PM-1:00PM, because at 4:00PM-5:00PM you will get to see another peak, which isn’t so big as the one at 11:00PM-12:00AM.

If you think you can’t publish a video manually at these time instants, then choose scheduled posts. (This article is on optimum instants for publishing YouTube videos)

Questions & Answers on YouTubing – Episode 4

Q. As far as I am concerned, YouTube doesn’t allow monetization in Bangladesh. I set another country in the advanced settings of my channel. Well it somehow changed to Bangladesh now, but the monetization status is still okay. How is this possible?

A. From the looks of it Google may have changed its viewpoint towards a few countries including Bangladesh. As for Bangladesh, many people recently have been passing time on YouTube instead of traditional ways of entertainment like television. That’s why Google has understood the importance of such a big audience which they plan to utilize to their benefit. This is the reason they now allow monetization in Bangladesh. Also they changed the programming in their system so that any false/fake country can’t be set in the advanced settings of a channel.

Q. I am a mobile bank user from Bangladesh. Recently on 21st of this month I got a mail saying that Google had sent me $144, but when I checked my account I saw the balance was still the 77 BDT that I previously had. What happened?

A. Well, the payment Google has sent to your bank account is an electronic payment. It takes 5 to 10 business days for the money to show on your account. Have patience till then. If you don’t receive the payment even after 10 business days, then you’re supposed to contact Google regarding the issue.

Q. I have got 3500 clicks on my videos. Surely I have earned some money, but it doesn’t reflect on my AdSense account. Now what to do?

A. Probably you don’t know about the policy of Google that YouTube earnings are not daily updated on your AdSense, rather they are submitted to your AdSense balance on the 12th of each month (just once in a month).

Q. I got a strike on one of my YouTube videos. The video was fully created by me and the content of the video solely belongs to me. Why did I then receive a strike? I just copied someone else’s video’s title and tags.

A. Well, you should know that there are two types of strikes. The video’s content is fully yours, that’s why you didn’t receive copyright strike. But you used someone else’s video’s title and tags and thus tried to trick YouTube’s artificial intelligence in order to get more views and viewers in an illegal way. Since you cheated with YouTube viewers’ community, you got a community strike.

YouTube Videos that I found Interesting Today (May 01 2018)

10 Creepy Haunted Schools That Actually Exist

This is a YouTube video from MatthewSantoro, one of my favorite YouTubers/YouTube channel. I always have been a fan of paranormal activities. I am a regular listener of Bhoot Fm (Radio Foorti), which is a very popular Ghost Stories program in my country. So naturally I am attracted to anything that might sound spooky/other worldly. Today (May 01 2018) when I found this video of MatthewSantoro in the YouTube’s watch page/suggestion page, I readily grabbed it and started watching. I really enjoyed it and watched it to the end. And in doing that I didn’t have to force myself. The video is given here.

THE TRUTH ABOUT INDIA: Expectation vs Reality | India Travel Tips

I didn’t find this video too much interesting, but it was able to grab my attention. Actually it uses a misleading thumbnail, that’s why. Wherever you are from, you surely know the population size of India. The country most possibly has the biggest number of YouTubers and YouTube users across the globe. That’s the reason this video has become viral and it was able to take a place on my YouTube’s homepage as a video suggestion.

The thumbnail is misleading in that although the video actually speaks good of India: its environment and landscape, but anyone taking a look at the thumbnail is likely to think that the video might have content against India. Just to check that, they may start watching it. And after watching it for a couple of minutes, they will soon find out what the video is really about.

I was interested to watch it because I live in a neighboring country of India. But when I found that the video was basically speaking ALL good about India in the name of busting myths, I actually found it boring. So I quit watching it. But if you’re from India or interested about the country, you may choose to watch the full video which is given here. My suggestion to the lady YouTuber that she should have used some images and clips that describe urban and rural India in her video. That way it could have been more interesting. May 01 2018

Unique Facts About Hinduism

Now this is a really interesting video. While I was watching the above video, I was suggested this one. I have been a fan of FTD facts for a long time now. I have been watching their videos since 2016 when they were new in YouTubing. May 01 2018

Well, I learned a few interesting facts about Hinduism through this video. I came to know that Hindu might have been the oldest religion ever. Also, the word ‘Hindu’ comes from the Sanskrit word Sindhu which means river. I can’t recall all the points that I learned here, partly because I knew some of them previously.

The Difference Between North Indians and South Indians: best video on may 01 2018

This is another video from FTD Facts that I watched today (May 01 2018). As you may guess I use to pause videos while commenting about them in the blogpost. But this video was different, I had to watch it in ‘a single breath’ (at a stretch). So you understand how much interesting I found it. Also the content/title of the video should easily arouse interest in people who want to know more about India, including Indian citizens themselves. Well, why don’t you come to know for yourself the differences between the north and the south Indian people? The video’s link is given here:

Why Do North East Indians Look Different From Other Indians?

At this point I confess that this blogpost should have been titled ‘Featuring FTD Facts: A nice YouTube Channel’ instead of ‘YouTube Videos that I found Interesting Today’. That’s because most of the videos I present here on this post are from the mentioned channel. May 01 2018

Although I previously knew the information they presented in this video, yet I clicked on it to check if I should have something new. Then I got to see that I already knew the correct info: south-east Indians are descendants of Mongolian people, that’s why they look different from other Indians.

YouTube Videos that I found Interesting Today (April 29 2018)

YouTube video on April 29 2018
Top 10 Things That Will Happen When Queen Elizabeth Dies

The first YouTube video that I watched today (April 29 2018) is given below. It describes what happens when queen Elizabeth dies. Well, One thing is for sure: the presenter lady with saggy boobs who shows a significant portion of those is really interesting and attractive to stare at. While her presentation and voice was nice, the points she presented were ‘common sense’, i.e. something that can be easily guessed. For example, points like ‘Charles will be king and her wife will be queen’ sound too obvious and to some extent stupid, if you ask me.

But this video is informative too. Through this one, I came to know that queen Elizabeth is probably the head of Commonwealth nations including Canada, Australia, New Zealand. And Commonwealth is most possibly the league of nations that were under British empire at some point. No matter what, I watched the video to the end, at least to be able to constantly stare at her: her semi-mature but luscious figure and the shakes of her body parts. April 29 2018

Frankly, I didn’t understand many of the points mentioned in the video. I guess I should been a college student of Political Science to realize those. But I came to know one interesting fact: after queen’s death there will be twelve days of national mourning which is a little too excessive, I feel. Then again it doesn’t really matter what I feel, right?

10 Ways Companies Are Secretly Ripping You Off Every Day!

This YouTube video is from MatthewSantoro. I am a big fan of this Canadian YouTuber, although he is controversial to some people. I came to know from another YouTuber’s video that MatthewSantoro was one of those guys who adopted unscrupulous means to upload videos. In Matthew’s case, he was alleged to be copyring content from a ‘top 10’ website and simply read those loud to his viewers, us. I’m not sure of it, all I know is I find him and his presentation style interesting every single time I watch a video of his. Well, the Youtube video that I’m talking about today is given below:

I got a lot of useful information from this video. I came to know how some companies are ripping common people like you and me off secretly. I like you to watch the full video and also share it among your friends and associates. April 29 2018

10 Most Intelligent People of All Time: best video on April 29 2018

I have always admired the YouTube channel Alltime10s. This is probably the second most favorite channel to me as a YouTube user. That means every time I create a new YouTube account, this is the channel I find and subscribe to right after Alltime Conspiracies, which just happens to be my most favorite YouTube channel.

Well. I came to learn a lot of new things through this video I’m talking about. It is given below. The video presents a list of the most intelligent people of all time, mainly based on IQ score. A few famous people namely Leonardo Da Vinci, Issac Newton, Stephen Hawking, Marie Curie and Einstein have been mentioned here. And a few other people also have been mentioned, whom I didn’t know until now. The thing is that I don’t agree with the list provided here. That’s because if the list is really based on IQ score, then who knows – may be you or I could have been one of these ‘most intelligent’ people, right? I’m saying this because like most other people of the planet I haven’t had any opportunity to check my IQ level.

Also the inclusion of Issasc Newton in the list has irritated me, because many people have been recently saying that most of the discoveries and inventions Newton claimed to be his own, were actually collected. He might have done that while he was the president of ‘The Royal Academy’, using his influence and political power.

Another thing is that almost all the people who have been included in the list were scientists and/or inventors. So what about politicians and people from other professions? Aren’t there highly intelligent people from these sectors? The video creator should have taken this point into consideration. Nevertheless the above YouTube video is quite educational and informative. You’re advised to watch this to the end. April 29 2018

A Few Interesting YouTube Videos That I Watched Today (May 02 2018)

May 02 2018
10 Real Life Haunted Dolls You Don’t Want to Play With…

The first YouTube video that I want to talk about is from MatthewSantoro. I’m not sure whether or not you guys find this Canadian YouTuber charming, but I like him a lot. And from the looks of it, this is obvious that lately he has been creating a few YouTube videos on paranormal activities, which just so happens to be one of my favorite topics. The YouTube video that I watched today (May 02 2018) from his channel is about haunted dolls.

I am a guy from a middle class family. Due to leading a modest budget life I may not be able to travel around the world. Even if I become able to manage the funds to do that at some point in my life, I may not have sufficient energy to travel around at that time. So like most other middle class people I rely on the internet to have a look around the globe. YouTube and satellite television channels give me the opportunity to know about different places of the world, both beautiful and freaky. They also let me know about possessions of famous museums, like haunted dolls and stuff. So as you can guess I found this YouTube video from MatthewSantoro very interesting. May 02 2018

How North India is different from South India: best video on may 02 2018

In previous article I presented a video that describes the differences between North and South Indian people and their lifestyle. Before presenting that video before you as an interesting one, I had to watch it to the end. May be that’s how YouTube’s artificial intelligence learned that I’m interested to know more about India. So today I found another video as a suggestion on my YouTube’s homepage: it is also based on the differences between north and south India. This time it’s a nice and glamarous lady YouTuber: the way she pronounces and presents the things, it’s just more than awesome. I am considering to subscribe to her channel, you can do the same. Just keep in mind that most her videos are on India, Geography, education system and SEX. The video under discussion is given here:

7 Surprising Facts About RAW

RAW stands for Research and Analysis Wing. It’s an intelligence agency working for Indian government whose strategy is almost like that of CIA and Mossad. This particular YouTube video is from FTD Facts, one of my favorite educational YouTube channels. I came to know through this one that the founder of RAW was Indira Gandhi. The video shows some exclusive footage of real RAW members’ training session which I found to be exquisite. Previously I was under the impression that RAW recruits were made directly from common educated and capable people. But through this video I came to learn that most RAW members are recruited from Indian Forces namely Army, Navy and Police. Here’s the video link for you:

10 Celebrities Who Are Actually Muslim

I would like to suggest two more YouTube videos by FTD Facts, they’re based on Islam. The first one describes the differences between Shia and Sunni muslims. I always have been interested to clearly know these differences. I have watched this video and come to learn a few points. I guess I will have to watch it again to realize the points even more clearly. May 02 2018

The second video let me know the identity of 10 celebrities who are actually Muslims. But sadly enough, this video uses a misleading thumbnail which has the image of Angelina Jolie on it. This is misleading because Jolie doesn’t follow Islam alone, she follows three different religions: Islam, Christianity and Buddhism. So any Muslim guy like me upon watching such an image/thumbnail could be anxious to find that their favorite celebrity is actually a Muslim, which has been the case for me. Anyways, here’s the video for you:

10 Strangest Laws In India

When I found this video in the suggestion page, I readily got interested to watch it, ’cause as a person living in the Indian sub-continent, I really want to know about laws and regulations of each south Asian countries, specially if they’re strange.

This video is quite eduactional. It let me know a few crazy laws of India like you need to have permission from Indian Aviation Authority to fly a kite. That’s because it’s considered an aircraft. There are other crazy laws as well: women are forbidden to work in factories during night time, although they may work in other places like call centers after sunset. I can’t recall all the points here. Why don’t you watch this interesting YouTube video for yourself?! May 02 2018

But one thing is for sure: this video too uses misleading thumbnail, because it shows ‘Alia Bhatt drinking alcohol’ is banned. Actually alcohol is banned for people under 18 years of age and everyone knows Alia is well over 18. Also anyone taking a first look at the image may mistake the bottle as that of soft drinks/beverages, which happened in my case. I strongly believe the thumbnail was designed that way to deceive viewers.

How to Remove Fake Copyright Strike On YouTube! Counter Copyright Procedure

counter copyright

In this blogpost we’re going to discuss how to remove a fake copyright strike on your YouTube channel which is also known as counter copyright procedure. If you’re sure that it’s a fake copyright strike, then rest assured you’ve nothing to worry about, it is most likely to be removed soon.

Difference between copyright claim and copyright strike

At this point we hope that you’re aware about the difference between copyright claim and copyright strike. When you intentionally or unintentionally use someone else’s creation (like a portion of video, audio or image) who has content id activated, then you might be sent a notifying email saying that ‘this particular copyrighted content has been found in your video’. This type of notification is a copyright claim and NOT a copyright strike. A copyright claim doesn’t impose a strike on your channel. Depending upon the original creator’s choice, you might have to share revenue of the video with them, or your video may be declared ineligible for monetization. The creator may even take all of the revenues earned through that video.

However a copyright strike is an entirely different thing. It is basically a punishment that the original creator of the content imposes on your YouTube channel. Because of this your alleged video may be removed from YouTube. Three such strikes within three months of time and consider your channel as good as gone.

But there is some similarity between content id claim and copyright strike: you can file a dispute against each of them. When you start a dispute procedure against a copyright strike, it’s called ‘counter copyright procedure’.

First be sure whether or not the copyright strike claim is fake

As mentioned above if you gather three consecutive copyright strikes within three months of time, YouTube may decide to terminate your channel. Although after the third strike they will notify you about this probable termination and give you one week of time to try any counter copyright. If you’re unsuccessful in doing that properly, then no one can save your channel from termination.

Also keep in mind that YouTube copyright team consists of really capable and efficient people, so you can’t possibly con any of them. This is why it’s pointless to create and submit any false counter copyright claim. But if you’re sure that the copyright strike was imposed on your channel wrongfully, then you have every right to fight against it.

And also, you should try a counter copyright procedure immediately after you get the first copyright strike. That means, you shouldn’t wait for more copyright strikes to take place on your channel and then fight them altogether. That’s pointless and stupid, because when you get two strikes of same type (copyright or community), you’re punished in one way or another. YouTube may disable your channel to upload further videos, they even might demonetize all your videos, who knows?! So our point is, it’s always good to be cautious.

Remember You gotta have patience

YouTubing is surely a very interesting job now a days. If you can shine in it you may be able to earn handsome amount each month, some even became millionaires. But these are just some pros of YouTubing, you should also come to know about the cons of it: you may get community or copyright strike at any time no matter how sincerely you work. Yes, you might be a victim of misunderstanding, that’s why there are options for you to file a counter copyright claim.

So patience plays an important role while you have strikes. Patience also helps you remain confident. You have to be digital when it comes to your confidence, that means there is no intermediate position when you’re justifying yourself regarding the strike. You are either totally innocent or totally guilty (even if a tiny fraction of copyrighted material is found in your content, knowingly or unknowingly).

That’s why you first have to scrutinize the whole video that has received a copyright strike. In order to be able to do that you got to have all your YouTube videos downloaded previously. YouTube gives you an option to do that. Now once you find that the whole content of the video rightfully belongs to you, then you have nothing to worry about; you’ll just have to start a counter copyright procedure for that. Otherwise the strike will be permanent on your channel; and if you receive further strikes, your channel may be terminated.

What if you found yourself guilty?

Now after you scrutinize the video, you may find that a part of audio, or footage or even a single image has been wrongfully used in that. Since it is someone else’s copyright content, so you’ll then have to assume that the strike was real. In that case, you have two options open for you: either to wait for three months after which period the strike will expire on its own. This might be okay if the total number of strikes on your channel is less than three. But should you choose to wait, you’ll have to remain careful in the meantime not to receive any further strikes of the same type (copyright).

If you don’t prefer to wait, then you can try the ‘retract’ option which you should find next to the video removed due to copyright. When you start that procedure, you’ll have to humbly request the ‘copyright imposer’ in a language like the following:

‘Dear Sir/Madam,

It was my mistake to use your copyrighted content in my video. I swear to God that I did it mistakenly and not knowingly. So I’d like to request you to please withdraw your copyright claim off my video and hence save my channel from a strike. I promise you that once the strike is lifted, I’ll simply delete that video.

Best regrads

(Your official name)’

Here you might even provide the link to your removed video and your channel’s url. Well, if that guy pleases and pardons you, then it’s good news for you. Otherwise, you’ll just have to go through the three months period of punishment, provided that the total number of strikes is less than three.

What if it’s a fake copyright strike?

If you’re sure that it was a false copyright claim, then you first may choose to request the guy to lift the strike/claim and the language you should be using in that mail is given above. But if the guy pays no attention to you, then you’ll just have to file a counter copyright notification. In order to do that first you’ll have to visit this page. Here you’ll see how many copyright strikes you currently have and also their details. So to file a counter copyright notification, you’ll just need to click a particular notice and follow the instructions.

At this stage, let us remind you that you need to be 100% sure before submitting a counter copyright notification. You have to be sure that it was a fake/wrong copyright claim. If you try to play with YouTube copyright team and get caught in the act, they may disable (terminate) your account once and for all. It’s just a warning to you from our part, not that no one has ever been able to get away after submitting a false counter  copyright notification.

For your information, while you file the counter copyright notice, you’ll need to give your contact details and the reason why you think it was a false copyright claim. I guess you should read the following article from our blog, this one will give you further information regrading YouTube’s copyright and counter copyright systems.

Copyright infringement claim system on YouTube: NOT perfect

Probable response from YouTube about the counter copyright submission

Now that you have submitted the counter copyright file, you’ll have to wait a couple of days for the reply from YouTube’s copyright team. If they say they found you guilty, then you can’t possibly do anything else after that. But if they demand further explanation from you as to why you haven’t infringed someone else’s copyright, then you’ll have to present the explanation in a different manner. If possible, you may just counsel an Internet/YouTube lawyer: they might be able to give you a better text for reason.

This ‘demand for further explanation’ indicates that YouTube’s copyright team is NOT exactly sure what’s going on here and whether you’re innocent. In my opinion, it’s a good news for you, because they haven’t quit on you yet and you might just be able to prove yourself justified.

When YouTube forwards your reason to the copyright claimant

If YouTube team feels that you might be saying the right thing, then they’re left with no other choice but to forward your ‘reasoning text’ to the copyright claimant. They also tells that party to get a restraining order from court against you, so that you can neither upload the alleged video again nor demand to restore it. Many times, it may not be possible for the claimant to get such a restraining order form court, so they may quit in that case. If so, then you may just get relieved of the messy copyright situation.

Instead of restraining order, YouTube might even demand from the claimant for evidence that the content was rightfully theirs and claim was okay. This is also a tough thing to present, if you ask me. Lastly, let me give you a nice piece of information: if you think someone is just harassing you over and over with false copyright claims, then you may choose to complain against them, just write to copyright@youtube.com.

A few myths regarding AdSense approval for a blog that need to be busted

AdSense approval for a blog

All my life I’ve been hearing that ‘this and that’ are required to have AdSense approval for a blog. Well, I recently have had some firsthand experiences regarding AdSense approval on a blog and also ran a few experiments on this subject and found some amazing results. This is something I need to share with everyone who are planning to get AdSense approved for their blogs, because my findings will help them bust a few myths about AdSense approval they previously had.

First things first, a little bit of confessions

I need to confess here that I didn’t directly get AdSense approval for this blog. I actually had to get it approved for another blog first.

When I applied for AdSense on this blog, they informed me that this one had some issues which needed to be resolved first before the approval. Well, my bad luck was that they didn’t specify what problems it had, although I found that later. Actually I had a post named ‘YTD video downloader: How to use it properly’ on this blog. You may know that YTD is considered illegal by Google and YouTube, so they expected me to get rid of that article first. But I had no clue to this, so I kept getting rejected over and over.

That’s when I had the bright idea to try my other blog whose name I don’t want to disclose at this moment for some reasons.

How that other blog is

Now you guys must be thinking that the other blog I’m talking about must be extraordinary. Since this blog (YouTubing Tips) has 7 pages, the other one must have more pages. And also that one must be neatly designed. Well, if you have thought so, then you’ve thought it wrong.

This is because the other blog has only 3 pages. Currently it’s design is okay, but back in the time when I got the AdSense approval, the design was not only boring, but totally stupid also (frankly speaking). There was no ‘Privacy Policy’ or ‘Terms of Service’ page on it. Also in the contact page and Avatar section I didn’t upload my facial image. It’s just that someone had claimed I needed to upload my headshot as Avatar on the blog that I plan to get approved for AdSense. And the two pages mentioned above are a must for the approval.

So the bottom line is that your blog’s design doesn’t need to be perfect or extraordinary to get AdSense approved for it.

Is SEO must to get AdSense approval on a blog?

I have seen people say that a good SEO score on your blog is mandatory to have it approved for AdSense. Well, they’re wrong again; because the blog I’m talking about here still has a very poor SEO score, let alone the time of approval.

On top of that a good ‘Alexa ranking’ of your site is not required to have AdSense approval. For example, that blog of mine doesn’t have any ranking in Alexa, believe it or not.

It even had some controversial content written in Bangla. These contents were based on politics. I guess if they were written in English, they would’ve been caught. Well, I’m planning to get rid of these controversial contents from my blog. Also, I’m discouraging you guys to try anything controversial on your own blogs. Just because I got away with that doesn’t mean you’ll have the same privilege.

Now about the experiment that I ran

In Google AdSense Forum someone claimed that AdSense approval on a blog is automated, that means it is done without any human intervention. I didn’t believe this directly, but I kept in mind what he said. That’s why when my faulty blog was approved for AdSense I got surprised. I had a little bit of suspicion in my mind that it might have been a mistake and decided to run a test.

The blog after being fully approved for AdSense started to show live ads, but I got rid of all the ad codes from the site. Then I asked my friend to apply for AdSense upgrade (Hosted to full version) with my blog. Well, he too got the approval which proved that my blog getting AdSense approval in the first place was not a mistake. So I guess you guys now understand which myths on AdSense approval on a blog just got busted. Please share this post with everyone so they all know about the truths that I recently discovered.

PewDiePie advises for new YouTubers – Episode 2

This is a continuation of previous article which is titled How to Get Started on YouTube – PewDiePie advises. So in this article we’re going to present a few other points PewDiePie advises for new YouTubers. They’re listed below:

Maintain an Upload Schedule

It’s not like that you have to upload daily, still you’ll just have to stick to an upload schedule. It could be two videos per week, or even once in a week. If possible try to upload 1 or 2 videos per day, this would be best for rapid growth of your YouTube channel. (This article is on PewDiePie advises for new YouTubers)

Get some help from another established YouTuber

According to PewDiePie, it’s okay to take help from another established YouTuber of your acquaintance. Ask them to feature your channel on their own channels. They can even present your videos on their own videos through cards and end screens.

You can also contact a blogger and ask them to feature your YouTube channel and videos on their articles. Whoever you would like to ask, make sure that their channel’s or blog’s content have similarity with your channel’s content. That way you’ll easily have more potential viewers. (This article is on PewDiePie advises for new YouTubers)

This ‘helping hand’ from someone already established is called ‘Shoutout’. Well, it’s going to help you build your base audience, but they’re not going to stick with you unless you maintain a fairly strict upload schedule and put continuous effort in improving your videos’ quality and content.

This is another advice from PewDiePie to new YouTubers. When you’ll start having growth on your channel, many people will be coming around and trying to make a fool out of you. They’ll be offering you so many things, it is difficult to put any specific example here. Some will be interested in having a split of your earnings, others will try to snatch your audience away. Just use your head to distinguish between right and wrong. Don’t be naive to accept proposals from strangers. (This article is on PewDiePie advises for new YouTubers)

Back in February 2016, when I first started to have a lot of views on my YouTube videos, I was contacted by a few people who claimed to be from multi channel networks. They offered me in a language like this, ‘May be you’re satisfied with AdSense. But we think we can offer you something greater and way better.’ Well, I didn’t pay any heed to them and adhered to AdSense. On my part, the reason was ‘I’m not supposed to listen to strangers’. But there are other reasons as well, they are described below.

Networks

Here ‘networks’ means multi channel networks. According to PewDiePie, as a new YouTuber you shouldn’t join one such. This is because MCNs don’t have much to offer to newbies. Before they can work for you, they’ll first see how much you’ve earned for them. Naturally, new YouTubers don’t earn much, so by joining a multi channel network at such stage they’ll simply split their own revenues and give away a part of that to the network for nothing in return. I hope you got the point and won’t make this stupid mistake. (This article is on PewDiePie advises for new YouTubers)

How to Get Started on YouTube – PewDiePie advises

In the previous article, I promised you guys that I would be describing an educational video created by PewDiePie. And it’s on how to get started on YouTube. You may want to read that one first unless you’ve already done that. Here’s the link for you guys:

‘The Boss of it All in YouTubing’ AKA PewDiePie

Now let’s move on with our topic today which is nothing other than how to get started on YouTube. Well, according to him, sincerity is really important. In this regard, he mentions about comment spamming. Like every other expert, he also opines that comment spamming can’t bring you anything good in the long run (yeah, it can get you some instant success). Some guys do the unfair sub4sub and like4like activities on YouTube; these should be prohibited.

PewDiePie says, ‘It is rude to simply comment and ask people to visit your channel or watch your videos’. He is right in that, because there’s no point in doing so. Just ask yourself, ‘Why would people do that?’ Remember that the world is all about interest. So you have to make your videos interesting and/or exquisite, they must stand out from others’ videos in some way. (This article is on how to get started on YouTube)

Now let’s talk any probable alternative to comment spamming. PewDiePie mentions of something which might sound much like comment spamming at first, but it’s a lot different thing. He confesses, back in 2012 and 2013 while his channel was still new, he used to do a weird(!) thing.  He checked out comment sections of channels that were almost similar to his channel and thus found  his potential viewers. Then he personally messaged these people that they might be interested in his videos too.

PewDiePie’s advice on equipment

Many new YouTubers have the misconception that they must buy costly equipment (like DSLR or webcam) in order to shine in YouTubing. Well, like every other wise guy PewDiePie advises newbies to NOT spend much on equipment. This is because competition is growing in this business and everyday thousands of new YouTubers are starting their activities to earn YouTube money, a term which amuses them the most.

So it is not certain whether you’re going to have success in this particular field. YouTubing was much easier before December 2016. But lately it’s quite tough to establish a YouTube channel even if you can create exquisite content that most other people can’t. I’m saying this because ‘content creation’ is not everything when it comes to YouTubing, you have to SEO your YouTube videos as well. In addition, there are a few other factors you need to master. (This article is on how to get started on YouTube)

‘YouTubing’ may not be so interesting to you after all

Earning through YouTube AKA YouTubing may sound interesting to some people at first. But later it may not be that interesting any more. Once you get the success in YouTubing that you’ve always dreamed of, the first couple of months may feel like ‘floating in the sky’ to you. But afterwards it will most likely feel like any other business or entrepreneurship to you, although this one is online based and comes with much more freedom than others. (This article is on how to get started on YouTube)

Well, the thing is that you got to love creating videos if you’re willing to earn some real YouTube money. If you find it boring to create new videos, then this particular profession or hobby (whatever you like to call it) is probably not for you. Because in that case you’ll feel exhausted and unwilling after creating a handful of videos and most likely decide to quit on it. So for the sake of your valuable time, ask yourself right this moment whether you love to create videos.

Let’s just assume for the time being that you love to create videos and at some point you start getting the views, subscribers and earnings that you only dreamed previously. Remember that sooner or later you’ll be overwhelmed with viewers’ comments and ratings. And it may even feel like a stress to you. So PewDiePie advises to separate your office space from home, if possible; now a days he does the same. (This article is on how to get started on YouTube)

Standout from others: don’t simply be a copycat

In one of my previous articles, I probably told you guys that your contents have to stand out from others. Otherwise why on earth would people love to watch your videos? Right?

I have seen guys who copied the successful channels: they tried to create the same content or at least the same type of content, they even did the crime of impersonation when they name their own channels/accounts. So our advice is: when it comes to choosing your channel’s niche, don’t rely on others or look outside, you had better look inside and ask yourself what sort of content you like to create and also what you’re good at. Here are a few nice articles from our blog that you can read to help you choose your particular niche.

Maintain your audience

It may not be difficult to get to the top, but it’s really challenging to stay there. So in order to gain subscribers and viewers and retain them you have to constantly create even better YouTube videos. You naturally should be able to do that at some point, unless you find yourself ‘lazy’ and/or ‘busy in celebrating success only’. This is because day by day you will be learning new things and tactics on YouTubing. Now speaking of tactics, don’t rely on them much, or you’ll hurt your status. (This article is on how to get started on YouTube)

There are people out there who found success in YouTubing, then instead of emphasizing on quality and exquisite content, they chose to stress on SEO and other creepy things like this, as a result they eventually fell down NEVER to recover again. I don’t deny the necessity of SEO, just don’t forget to keep trying to improve the quality of your content, that’s all. This is the reason all SEO experts can’t be good YouTubers, can they?

Also remember that the days of making the Google or YouTube search algorithm fool are over, so don’t even think about using inappropriate tags and metadata. Stealing someone’s content knowingly is also a very bad idea. The following articles here might help you in this regard:

‘The Boss of it All in YouTubing’ AKA PewDiePie

PewDiePie

If you have been using YouTube for a while, then you know perfectly well who PewDiePie is; he doesn’t need any further introduction. I personally am not a big fan of his, because I don’t look for the kind of fun/comedy he tries to create in his videos. Also the frequent slang words he uses in his lecturing don’t impress me. Yet, it’s no denying that he is the biggest YouTuber of current time considering the number of subscribers, which is 61M on his channel as of today.

Now you guys must be wondering why I’m featuring a YouTube channel on my blog that I don’t appreciate much. This is because recently I have found a useful video created by PewDiePie, it’s on how new YouTubers should act. I have decided to create an article describing what he has to say in this regard. Before I do that, I think I should give you guys some idea as to what sort of content on an average PewDiePie has on his channel.

PewDiePie has proved his faith in humanity at least once

First of all, let me present the video by PewDiePie which changed my mind about him.

In this video too, he has used lots of slang words. I guess due to owning the biggest channel he doesn’t care much about YouTube’s guidelines. Still this video contains a few unique ideas and advice for the YouTube newbies. PewDiePie stresses that one must feel interested to create videos. If you don’t find interest in creating new videos, then you shouldn’t try it. Also, he advises to NOT comment spamming. Instead you should check out comment sections of channels that are almost similar to yours and thus find your potential viewers. Then you should personally message these people that they might be interested in your videos too. PewDiePie confesses that in 2012/13 when his channel was still new, he adopted this method. In my opinion, this one is far better than comment spamming.

Another interesting video I watched to the end was the one where he was supposed to delete his channel. Now this was simply a practical joke, because earlier he had promised his viewers that once his channel would reach 50M subscribers, he would simply delete it. Surely, he didn’t keep his promise and instead made a video to celebrate this joke with his viewers. Clearly, if he had deleted his channel at that time, then how on earth would his videos be available on YouTube to this day? Well, the video under discussion is given below.

Finally a few negative words about PewDiePie that I couldn’t but say

As obvious as it is, most YouTube users would find his videos useless, pointless and kind of garbage. Nevertheless he has created some gaming videos which are really entertaining and tutorial videos which are informative. But lately he has been creating videos that are supposed to be comical, although I didn’t find anything funny about them. Frankly, I don’t really have the patience to watch any of his videos to the end, that’s why I can’t say for sure which video contains what sort of content. If you want to try those, then go ahead and do that on your own; after all he has the biggest YouTube account/channel now a days.

I said the above negative words about PewDiePie, because I couldn’t gather the patience to look for and find an interesting gaming YouTube video created by him. I watched this particular video almost one year ago. And since he has more than 3000 videos on his channel, it’s really a very tough job to be able to find any particular video of his channel. Anyway, I guess once a guy hits the ultimate level of excellence and success, he changes and forgets about his past. Some of you guys may be a greater YouTuber than PewDiePie ever has been. If so, then be sure to maintain the connection to earth that you have now; it sure would be the key to retain success.
