Definition of YouTube money
The money that YouTubers earn is called YouTube money. In order to earn it, you need to be a YouTuber first, that means you need to have a YouTube channel to upload quality videos. Then you need to SEO and online market those and focus on the growth of your channel and views. Once you hit the milestone of 4000 watch hours in the last 12 months and 1000 subscribers, your channel will be reviewed by YouTube authority for monetization. If you’re approved you can start making ‘YouTube money’.
Now here we present some FAQs regarding YouTubing, YouTubers and channels.

What is YouTubing? Who are YouTubers?
The job of uploading videos to one’s YouTube channel and monetizing those and thus earning ‘YouTube money’ is called YouTubing. A person who uploads videos onto his/her YouTube channel and monetizes those and thus earns money, is a YouTuber.
Who can become a YouTuber?
Virtually, anybody of any age across the globe can become a YouTuber. Although according to YouTube, monetization isn’t available in all countries, yet it’s not a big deal if you simply change the country of your channel and thus get to monetize your videos. Even a child can become a YouTuber, simply by using his parents’ google account. FYI, lately a 5 years old child has been earning half a million dollars (surely an incredible amount of YouTube money) each month on an average by YouTubing.
Can YouTubing be taken as a full-time job?
It sure can. Sincere and dedicated YouTubers earn enough to lead their lives and those of their family members. Some even became millionaires. It all depends on your integrity and patience. Also, as a YouTuber you need to be able to create original content. People who try to capitalize on others’ creations, can’t sustain here for long.

How many channels can someone create?
An individual can create as many channels as he wants. He can create them from the same gmail id or different gmail ids.
What is a primary channel? What is a brand channel/account?
When you create a new google/gmail id, a YouTube channel comes automatically with that id. This one is called ‘primary channel’ for you. This channel has the same name as your gmail id. Suppose you created this gmail id with your name ‘John Smith’. Then your primary YouTube channel will also be named ‘John Smith’. If you change the name of your primary channel, then the name of the gmail id also changes and vice versa.
Primary channel is mandatory for you, if you want to participate in YouTube activities such as rating videos after watching them, commenting on them and subscribing to other channels. That means, the very first time you log into YouTube from your gmail id, you’re prompted to create your primary channel. At that time you are given an option to change the name of your primary channel as well as that of your entire google id, or keep it unchanged. Later you can create one or more brand channels/accounts and use any of them to participate in YouTube activity.
If your primary channel is terminated, then your brand channels are gone as well?
If your primary channel is terminated, then you can no longer access any of your brand channels from that google account. But you could still access those channels, if you previously had them connected with other google accounts. That’s why it is a good practice to associate any of your valuable brand accounts with multiple google accounts. Here’s an article on how to do that:

How to manage multiple YouTube channels from different gmail/google accounts?
Suppose a person has multiple YouTube channels with different gmail IDs, he has to work on each of them. He logs into a gmail/YouTube account, works there for sometime and then to work on another channel, he logs out and logs back into another gmail/YouTube account. Well, he doesn’t need to do this job in a way so tedious, he can do it in a much simpler way. Here are the steps he needs to follow:
1. Go to the upper-right corner of the screen and click on the current channel’s icon, a pop-up menu will unfold like following:

2. In the menu, he will see all his active channels’ list. This time he needs to click on the ‘Add account’ link. Then he’ll log into his desired second YouTube account with a different gmail. By repeating this procedure, he can add multiple YouTube accounts. While working, he simply needs to switch between accounts.
